Academically, I'm really into appropriation, copyright law, film studies, video game studies, postcolonialism, and analog motion picture production. I also like cooking, biking, and weird situations. I prefer a non-hierarchical teaching model, in which my role as "teacher" would be downplayed in favor of group discussion.
I spend most of my free time either reading or making films and videos (mostly found footage) and you can see my stuff here if you're interested.
