Disability Studies Reading Group

A warming term disability studies reading group run by students. This reading group will allow students to explore the growing field of disability studies and encourage discussion about its intersection with radical perspectives on identity and activism.

Some topics we may read about include: definitions, models, and the history of disability, eugenics, disabled embodiment, Crip Theory, Mad Pride, Deafness, universal design.

The group will be free and held in an accessible space TBD according to the needs and locations of participants. It will start in early June.
