I'm a graduate student in English literature at Brandeis. I am just 300 or so pages shy of having written a dissertation on Samuel Beckett and Antoine Volodine.
I'm teaching the course called "Occupy, the Arab Spring, and New Social Movements." I pretend to no expertise on the Arab Spring and I have only a glancing acquaintance with Occupy. I am familiar with a lot of the books and ideas that form the background of our textbook, the pamphlet Declaration by Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri.
